Sandwich panels PPET
The PanelPlus LPET composite panels are very light, composed of an expanded sheet of PET foam (terephthalate polyethylene) made from recycled bottles.
The panel is coated externally with two fiberglass skins impregnated with phenolic resin and bonded with a thermoplastic adhesive. The surface is uniform, very compact weave with great esthetic impact, ideal as support for any cladding material, moreover in shipbuilding and railway fields where fire resistance characteristics are highly requested.
The field of application is support for marbles, ceramics, laminates for interior cladding, but mostly for floors thanks to its great resistance to compression which makes this panel suitable for walking over or even passing over with cars. The FPET sandwich panel is also ideal to be used in high humidity enviroments because of its waterproof properties.
